The day started out fun since I haven't been to the fair in a while. I went with one of my old friends my brother and Dave. It started out great until my friend and I got on a ride called the Zipper (big mistake ) during the ride I didn't realize that you had to hang on to 2 bars in front of you. Well when the cage did a sudden forward thrust my head flew forward and hit the cage door hard enough that i saw a bright light once I hit it. When we finally got off the ride my head felt like a sledge hammer hit me. Everyone got me into one of the buildings in the air condition since i was stumbling from the ride. I went into the ladies room to see the damage and I was shocked this giant bump with the outline of the cage was red and swollen.

I was doing all types of little things to see if I had any symptoms of a brain injury and I seemed fine except for the thriving pain on my head . Well I wasn't going to let this ruin my day so I toughened up and was still able to have fun I was even able to climb the rock wall twice. Later as we were coming home we stopped at Burger King I started to get nauseous I thought it was because i ate ribs a funnel cake and a corn dog well a lady in the restaurant saw my wound and she told Steve that he should take me to the ER since nausea was a symptom of a head injury.

Well Im freakin out as were heading to the ER and my friend Katlin was getting more upset than me cause she blamed herself because I got hurt on a ride she wanted me to go on with her. I get examined and pass all the tests with flying colors and they determined I had a mild concussion . They gave me some strong Tylenol and a 2 day rest slip to get me off work.

Now Im just resting with a bad headache in bed with my computer, the 2 cats and my Golden Girls DVDs to keep me entertained.
